Welcome back to my March Project Life pages - part two! In case you've missed the first part, you can find it here.

In March I included the collage I made for that month's One Little Word class. It's a collage in 9x12 that visually represents my One Little Word which is minimalism. You can read more about that here. For the collage I adhered circles that I cut out of different magazines with my 2 inch circle punch onto kraft cardstock. The letters on top came with Ali Edward's One Little Word kit. I'm starting to feel that plus signs might be the symbol that represents minimalism for me.


I continued with my regular Project Life pages. As you can see, I included a lot of cards and elements form the Project Life Everyday Edition that I like lot.

In March, I had to take portraits of me for upcoming job applications and I joked around a little. In the end, I used the one at the bottom and it got me a job...!














March is in the books and my Project Life album is filling slowly but surely. My goal for 2016 was to only use one album, but we'll see how that goes.

Hello again for Wednesday of my Week in the Life!

On Wednesday I followed more or less the same structure as I did for the previous days. However, I took fewer photos so I slipped the day of the week card inside of one of the page protectors.

Again, I used the chipboard circles from the kit as a way to add transparency. This worked well here because it layers perfectly with the yellow day of the week card underneath.


The font I used on the title pages is called Besom 2.



On the back of the chipboard piece, I adhered one of the stickers of the packaging for the kit.


This spread is one of my favourites in the album so far. Right now, I really like the combination of blush and dark grey. By the way, ranunculus are my favourite flowers, so sad they're already gone for the season.

It already feels a lot like summer in Hamburg (even with the occasional rain and thunder storms) but I just finished my monthly Project Life spreads for March... So here I'll show you some airy and spring themed pages with a lot of light green, transparencies, watercolour and a wood veneer rabbit... March was definitely a really good month.

Today I'd like to share some Week in the Life progress with you. I printed all of my photos (yay!) and I have to say, narrowing down my options, choosing photos, editing and preparing them for printing is the part of memory keeping I enjoy the least. I'm just not good at decision making.

However, now that I have all my photos in place, the rest of the album is coming together smoothly. So here is Tuesday! You can find my Sunday here and Monday here.



On Tuesday morning, my boyfriend took a couple of pictures of me while I was getting ready (like trying to put on a bracelet in the photo above or filling my water bottle in the photo below). It's kind of funny to see myself in non-posed (or at least intentional) pictures.



Still following the same formula to start with a full page photo, the chipboard divider and then a 3x4 page protector to which I adhere the circle chipboard sticker. I just love these transparent elements!


Again, I'm adding the 4x6 day of the week card directly into my album by punching holes in it. On the back, I'm printing my story of the day.



And this is a first! Orange is not my colour and I'm pretty sure I never used anything orange in my Project Life before. But these rubber words were too cute not to use.

Welcome to day 2 of my week in the life! Today, I'll show you how I put Monday in my album. For me, that was the second day I documented. I didn't do a Monday through Sunday week as many others, but started on Sunday because I went on holiday the following Sunday and I wanted to capture a full week at home. So here it is!


Breakfast is my favourite meal, so I wanted to include a couple of pictures each day. I love the morning light in our apartment.




Like on Sunday, I followed a similar order and started with a full page 6x8 photo, then the chipboard daily divider, a 3x4 page protector, a 4x6 page protector, the gold foil day of the week card outside of the page protectors, a 3x8 page protector and another full page 6x8 photo to close the day. Like Ali says, it makes it so much easier to complete the album when I don't have to over think the structure for each day. Simplicity for the win I'd say!


Monday was work wise very exhausting, and that's exactly what the photo of me on the left shows. I thought about not including it because I look so unhappy, but in the end I went with it. It's all part of the story which turned out for the best later that week (more on that in the post about Thursday coming soon!).


I'm so grateful for a boyfriend who doesn't complain about a tripod being around all week...


I did it once and I won't do it again: using a tape runner to adhere the plastic letters to a photo.

February 2016 is in the books! I still really like the 9x12 format, but sometimes I feel that the pages can get a little too busy or not coherent enough. So for my February spreads I used one of my favourite 3x4 templates by Paislee Press to keep the pages together.
